On March 2, 2008, at 3:05 pm, our lives changed forever with the birth of our sweet daughter, Lydia. After 18 years together, Paul and I finally decided to take the plunge into parenthood. So now we share our life with our daughter.
Lydia was thrilled to shop today, since she got to push a mini cart and select things off the shelves. She picked 2 potatoes, 1 apple and then the items that Paul and I selected. She had a ball. She even got to put the items on the counter and help carry the bag!

Hmmm…maybe there are some advantages to being a parent, aftrer all - if you can get your kid to do all of the baking and the grocery shopping before she’s even 2 years old. Very cute.
