Lydia’s birthday was well celebrated this year. We started with her big party in Jacksonville, then a small one at school, a small MOMS Club party, and, finally, we celebrated again at home on her actual birthday. She loved every moment and is now into the whole bit: candles, singing, and cake.
This year has been unusually cold and unusually snowy here in Atlanta. We even had snow in the first part of March! So now Lydia knows just what snow is. She even learned to identify the color white with the help of all the snow. Here she is enjoying our last snow of the year!
Today we celebrated Lydia’s birthday at preschool with her class. I took cupcakes, and we sang to her after their lunch. Lydia wore her birthday hat that the her teachers made for her. After eating cake the class gathered to read books. The kids were all adorable, and the mini party was fun.
