Lydia seems to be more and more active each day. She loves it when we chase her. Watch a video of her crazy cuteness
Lydia has tons of fun playing with Daddy. This weekend she decided the beer box would be a great recreational vehicle, especially when Daddy powered it. Watch the video of Lydia and Daddy.
We went to a fun park today with the MOMS Club. The John Howell Park in the Highlands. Lydia ran around from play item to play item. Her favorite was the tunnel on the playground. She absolutely loved it.
It has a great playground with a fun firetruck, riding horse-like things, swings… the works. And it has a soft ground made of old tire shreds glued together so there’s little for her to eat and fewer bumps. Perfect!
Lydia is learning how to tell us when she’s hungry and thirsty. At home she goes to the pantry, gets a juice box and says “ssss” when she’s thirsty. When she’s hungry she goes in the pantry, gets the bag of goldfish, says “mmmmm”, and sits on the floor.
At the park she finds a bench, gets up on it, sits, and says “sssss” when she’s ready for her snack. Cute, huh.
Yesterday Lydia insisted in eating breakfast with Eugenio. She even tried to feed him.
She gives him hugs, love pats, kisses, and generally pals around with him.
Yesterday we got Lydia’s 1 year portraits. She was willing to pose for about 10 or 15 minutes or so, then she was done. She ran around the studio area (and out) while I was choosing and cropping photos with the photographer. I can’t imagine what it will be like when she’s 2. Oh my.
Our little cutie has a new chair: a mini poang from IKEA. She loves it! She giggled with excitement when she saw it in the living room waiting for her. Thanks, Grandma Becky, for a great chair.
